Philosophy

“The body wants to be well but sometimes it forgets how this can be achieved.”

A caring and passionate practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience, Nadia will talk you through your treatment process and work with you to achieve your health and wellbeing goals. Nadia understands that over time, disharmony creates pain and blockage in the body and therefore time and patience is required to truly remedy any problems for optimal health and benefits to endure.

Nadia became interested in Chinese medicine’s philosophy; assessing the body as a whole and realizing that pain and trauma can be stored for years before any symptoms may arise. This holistic approach views the mind and body as an integrated system, where emotions and well-being influence each other in a dynamic loop.

The key to a healthy life is to be balanced. When our energy flow is disrupted, disorder or disharmony can occur. Acupuncture is a fantastic and gentle way to restore order and balance in your body. Nadia will incorporate a few therapies in her treatments including cupping, massage, gua sha and moxibustion and will assess and discuss with you therapies that include diet therapy and stretches, that may be beneficial to achieve your wellness goals.

Nadia believes that maintaining the balance in your body can decrease the problems you may experience in your body.
